In line with the theme "What's New In Tissue Banking", the Congress provides the ideal opportunity to participants to strengthen and establish new contacts and to promote global linkages and collobrations in facing new challenges of tissue banking.
Three Pre-Congress Workshop will convene on 2nd June 2008 to cover 3 pertinent issues in tissue banking: Radiation Sterilisation of Tissue Grafts, Tissue Donation Coordination & Procurement and Biomechanics for Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering.
The congress (3rd - 5th June 2008) consists of 3 Special Lectures, 6 Plenary Lectures and 20 themed Symposia covering all aspects of cell and tissue banking, clinical applications of preserved tissue allografts and tissue engineering.
A scienific visit will be organised on the last day (6th June 2008) to gamma radiation and electron beam facilities and Research Tissue Bank at the Malaysian Nuclear Agency. |
